One of my absolute favorite parts of my job as a wedding photographer is the opportunity to share in so many wonderful love stories. I love it when my clients make their engagement session personal to them and their story as a couple. When Monica and Matt told me the story of their second date in East Atlanta, I knew this was the perfect spot to capture their engagement photos!
Matt and Monica met in a running group, and their love story finally began once Monica realized Matt wasn’t actually married like she mistakenly thought he was, and agreed to go out with him! (Really funny story!) Their second date was to Argosy in East Atlanta, after which they forgot where the car was parked, so they spent the evening wandering around the village searching for the car and getting to know each other, and stopping for coffee along the way. Once they finally found the car, there just so happened to be some confetti poppers from Matt’s birthday left in his car, and they fired them in celebration for finding the lost car. What an awesome surprise when Monica brought some confetti poppers to this session to fire at the end of the evening! It was a perfect end to a perfect session. We had a blast just wandering around the area recreating one of their fondest memories.
I am so thrilled to be their wedding photographer, and I am eagerly counting down the days til their March wedding. These two just radiate love, laughter, and happiness, and I can’t wait to see the beautiful wedding photos we create!
