When you Google “Constitution Lake Park, Atlanta, Georgia,” the only result you’ll get is about something called “Doll’s Head Trail,” which sounds a little ominous. So when Russell and Monica said that’s where they wanted to do their engagement session, I was understandably a little hesitant at first! But when we arrived, I was blown away by the natural beauty of the lake and the walkway around it. (Yes, I saw some dolls’ heads on the path, but it’s actually not as creepy as it sounds. You should go check it out for yourself. It’s pretty cool!)

Monica and Russell chose this spot for their engagement session because they came to this park on their second date and walked around talking, something they weren’t really able to spend much time doing on their first date. Now almost four years later, they live together on Cumberland Island running a farm together with their dog Scup, who accompanied them to their engagement session. I am SO excited to photograph their wedding next month at New Moon Gardens! Check out my favorites from their engagement session! (No dolls’ heads here; if you want to see those, take a look back at my Instagram stories!)
